I finally got my hands on a bootleg copy, but I have my doubts over whether or not it's the real deal. This book has been in the works for 10 years and there is one particular scene in the book that makes me think its a fake. I want to investigate one of these days and see a real copy of it at a bookstore and compare it to my version.

So far though, the first 13 chapters that were leaked online stayed exactly the way they were. I remember staying up many nights reading those leaked chapters over and over again on Smeyer's website. I'm so glad I didn't pay for my copy. Would've annoyed me to have to pay for only half of a book.

I'm still not finished with it, but I know the gist and I know what happens, but I'm still looking forward to the ending of this supposed authentic bootleg.

I haven't ranted about Midnight Sun at all! I can't believe just a few months ago I made this post lamenting the fact that Stephenie Meyer will never have time to finish Edward's perspective on Twilight and she just announces it a few weeks ago. It's a bit pricey but I cannot wait to read it. I remember reading the leaked first 12 chapters online and wishing she'd just write the rest.  And my wish has been granted.

I'm going to wait for it to be released either on the kindle or maybe paperback. I wish I hadn't been going through my "I have to be grown up" phase in eighth grade and gotten rid of all my copies of the Twilight series. I'll probably just download it to my kindle. That's where I keep Life and Death anyway.
