I read the last book of the Crazy Rich Asians trilogy awhile back, but I forgot to post about it sooner. Spoilers below.
I enjoyed the ending quite a bit. I liked how everything was concluded. We got to see a resolution of sorts for Nick and his family. By the end of China Rich Girlfriend, Nick was no longer on speaking terms with his grandmother. But when his grandmother becomes sick Nick returns to Singapore only to find out he's banned from Tyersall Park.
As it turns out, there was significant meddling happening with Eddie Cheng who thought he would inherit the massive Tyersall Park from Nick's Ah Ma. Of course it's a huge misunderstanding and when Ah Ma dies her property gets divvied up into four different pieces. Nick inherits 10% and his father gets 30%. The biggest surprise is that she never changed her will; Nick was always going to get that amount and his father was never actually disinherited in her will. Eddie gets nothing.
I wish we got to see more of Kitty since I liked her a lot in the second book. I felt her story should've been told actively instead of her arc being passively concluded off page. We actually don't get to see anything that happens with Colette (Carlton's ex and Kitty Pong's estranged new stepdaughter) and that's a shame. It's implied that she puts on a super conservative and sweet girl act to surprise everyone and get back at Carlton who has a new girl he's interested in. But it just sort of...ends? There's no resolution with that in a way that feels like it's purposefully being left open to leave room for another sequel.
Overall, I enjoyed the book and would definitely read more sequels if they ever appear even if Nick and Rachel's story is pretty much over.

Just curious about your thoughts on Astrid and Charlie?
Astreroid and Chorlie
I suppose this is a book all about drama so I should've expected how dramatic it was. I think I was just thinking too hard about it. I will admit, though, her story was much more engaging in the first and second book. I didn't even really care by the third book.
