Laptop Troubles

I think my laptop has officially gone kaput this time. This is the second laptop that's died out on me. It's probably the fact I keep it plugged in all night. Luckily, my laptop was gracious enough to die at the library so I was able to get a lot of work done anyway.

I recently applied to a new job as a parole officer for minors in my county. Everyone thinks it's a bad idea but it's salaried and they said they would train me on the spot. I'm tired of not making any money. It's incredibly frustrating.

Anyway, I mostly made this post in case y'all were wondering where I've gone: Nowhere. I just have a busted laptop (again!)

I understand why the people in your life might think it's not an ideal job, but any kids who are in the criminal "justice" system need sympathetic and caring adults on their side, and maybe you can be that for them.

I killed two laptops the same way.

I hope you get the job as parole officer for minors. You'd be a good role model for them.
