foreverdawningI went ahead and re subscribed to Hulu and I remembered the HBO Max password. I've been thoroughly obsessed with Westworld (I'm late, I know.) I like Westworld a lot but I wish they kept the story more contained.
I really enjoyed season one and some parts of season two. I barely started season 3 but I hate the outside world they show. It's one of those super sterile-looking futures influenced by early twenty-teens minimalism. It doesn't seem realistic to me and always takes me out of the scene because I'm thinking about how dated the clothes look already even though the show only came out in 2016.
Bernard being controlled by Ford was annoying. Ford wasn't a compelling villain/anti-hero. I also feel like they made Dolores too bloodthirsty. Her plan also seems really dumb. I've barely started season 3, but I don't see why she wants to take over the world? Maybe I'm just groggy because I haven't slept in the last three days due to me watching a season a night. Anyway, I'm definitely going to have to incorporate elements of Westworld in a Twilight fic sometime.
