I've been slowly but steadily getting through Pride and Prejudice. It's taken a bit of a lull in the story now after Mr. Darcy's admittance that he's in love with Elizabeth and she's returned home. Now it's a bit boring to read about the local drama that's unfolding when I'm wondering what Mr. Darcy is up to and what's going to happen when Jane finds out about Mr. Bingley. But if I'm not mistaken I'm on Chapter 42, so I'm more than half way finished.
Even though I'm still working through Pride and Prejudice, I just purchased an African American art book from Half Priced Books. I haven't started it yet but still looking forward to it. It's funny because I apparently went on Black Friday and had totally forgotten that there were deals and got 20% off.

Sometimes I think it's easier to even watch the adaptations of Austen's books to better get into the reading.
I could never get into Mansfield Park and finally I watched the mini series and listened to the audio book and enjoyed it a lot more.
*shrug*
I hope you enjoy it!

I'm sure it is, but I'm trying to challenge myself since a friend of mine pointed out the unique position I'm in being one of the few people going into Austen blind.
Thank you! I'm trying!
