The new manager is leaving

So the new manager that was hired is leaving after being promoted three weeks ago. She got a way better job offer in Vermont which, good for her, but it's just so funny how every single manager that gets hired ends up leaving. I can't help but feel smug because had I been at least offered an interview for the job I probably would've stayed. But, alas, this place has unfortunately showed me they don't want me. So I've been job hunting other places.
The reason I wasn't hired to begin with is because I said I wouldn't teach nature classes 1) because I'm not qualified but 2) because it makes no sense. Since covid they've decided to make this a full-time job and have managers start teaching classes while working. That seems absolutely ridiculous to me because as a manager, they will be busy. Whenever that has happened, they've had to rely on me to take on the manager role and deal with patron complaints, event set up, etc. when that's the manager's job.
