Volunteering

foreverdawningI decided I wanted to start volunteering this year so I reached out to the local Holocaust museum and I was accepted! I realized I don't know nearly enough about history in general to be able to answer any questions so I'm currently at the library trying to read up on World War 2 and Jewish history.
Before I got the official acceptance email I had to do two zoom calls as a group with the other potential volunteers and that was about two and a half weeks ago? I was so nervous that they didn't want me as a volunteer anymore that I started persistently and (I'm sure) annoyingly pestering them all day. I'm glad to be on the volunteer team anyway.
Speaking of good deeds if you have any spare cash consider donating to the Quileute People's Move to Higher Ground Project. Right now the Quileute' houses and elementary school are in a major tsunami and flood zone. And if you're interested in a Twilight zine, I helped organize the unofficial Higher Ground zine. If you want a copy, all you need to do is send proof that you donated to the Move to Higher Ground project. You can read more about it on the tumblr page.
