Kwanzaa Plans

So my idiot self decided after the Black Panther movie came out to host a Kwanzaa dinner for all of my Black friends (and my dad of course) but now I have to follow through and find that old recipe for jalapeno cornbread that makes even the biggest cornbread-hater a fan. I really am not looking forward to going to the grocery store this close to Christmas, but you gotta do what you gotta do for the "culture." 

Speaking of Christmas, my mom called me while I was at work to ask what I wanted for Christmas. I just assumed from our lack of presents last year that we weren't going to be exchanging gifts. Now I can either be the jerk that didn't get anyone gifts or be the nice person without money. Decisions decisions. 

I'm not even upset about it, I just feel like everything is happening so quickly and I barely have time to get myself in order for this upcoming semester.
